By accessing or using StockWatch, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What StockWatch is
StockWatch is a market information and research tool. We show quotes, news, charts, watchlists, alerts, and related features. We are not a broker, exchange, bank, or investment adviser. We do not execute trades, hold customer funds for trading, or provide personalized investment advice.
Not financial advice
All content is for education and information only. Markets involve risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for any trading or investment decisions you make with third-party brokers or elsewhere.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape aggressively, or violate these Terms.
Free and Pro plans
Free features are available within published limits. StockWatch Pro ($2 / month) unlocks additional capacity and features described on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can manage or cancel via the billing portal where available; cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise in Stripe.
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly offered by us. Prices may change; existing subscribers will see changes according to Stripe and applicable notice rules.
Market data & availability
Quotes and related data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Feeds can fail or change without notice. We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime or accuracy of any third-party data source.
API, agent, and automation
Pro API and AI agent features (when enabled) are subject to rate limits and fair use. Do not use them to attack systems, bypass security, or redistribute our service as your own competing product without permission.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent use.
- No attempting to disrupt or reverse engineer the service beyond allowed APIs.
- Forum and community features must remain civil and on-topic; we may moderate.
- Do not misrepresent StockWatch as a brokerage or advisory firm.
Intellectual property
StockWatch branding, UI, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Market data and news may be owned by their respective providers. You retain rights to content you post (e.g. forum text), and grant us a license to host and display it to operate the service.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or trading losses, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Pro in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts in Sweden have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rights.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
